Starting in February, each month we open voting to you, the readers, to pick your favorite blogs from the Blog Listing and shout it from the rooftops.

We all have favorites so why not give those favorites a chance to shine? Each month, we ask readers to nominate their favorite blogs here. Of those nominations, we take the three with the most votes, each of us admins throws in our favorite and we post those five nominations for your votes. The blog that gets the most votes gets featured on the write.blog.fiction with the summary of the blog and an excerpt. Writers get the recognition they deserve as well as new readers and readers find great new blogs to read they might have missed otherwise. It’s sort of like we all win.

How many votes do I get?
Each person, readers and writers alike, get one nomination vote and one Blog of the Month vote each month.

Can I nominate my blog for Blog of the Month?
If you’re a writer with your blog posted in the Blog Listing, you sure can use your vote for your own blog. But don’t contact us to try to get a nomination or we’ll throw rotten tomatoes at you.

How many times can a blogger be chosen for Blog of the Month?
A blog can win Blog of the Month once every 12 months (1 year). Once a blog has won blog of the month, it will be ineligible for nomination for 12 months. Bloggers who have more than one blog listed with write.blog.fiction may be nominated again for different blog.

I’m an Erotica or NC-17 blog writer. Can I still post an excerpt?
If you post mature content on your blog, you can still be nominated and win Blog of the Month. Because we do not post mature content on write.blog.fiction, we cannot accept any excerpt that has a rating of more than R. If you have a post that doesn’t include mature content, we’d be happy to post it, but if you don’t, we’ll be happy to post just your blog summary.

How do I know if I won/How do I submit my excerpt when I win?
Five days before the announcement of the winner, we contact the winner to tell them the happy news and give them a chance to send the link to their excerpt post or copy and paste it into an email.

How do the admins choose their favorites?
We throw darts at our laptops.
